Offices
Founded in 1854, Fostoria has grown to a population of
over 14,000 residents with an estimated 20,000 persons
residing in the surrounding area. Fostoria is located on
the border of three Northwest Ohio counties: Seneca,
Hancock and Wood. The city has a Mayor-Council form of
government.
Chamber of
Commerce
The Fostoria Area Chamber of
Commerce actively works to improve the quality of life
for the community and businesses of Fostoria. By
providing cost saving programs, the Chamber can help to
increase the bottom line of your community through its
small business development center.

The Greater
Fostoria Community Foundation
The Greater Fostoria
Community Foundation was established to provide an
opportunity for those with a sense of community loyalty
and pride to make a lasting and tangible benefit to
their community. The GFCF operates independently of
government or business and its sole objective is to
benefit the community.
Medical Facilities
Fostoria Community Hospital, a
ProMedica Health System partner, provides high quality,
cost-effective health care for the residents of Fostoria
and surrounding communities. The hospital offers general
medical care, including inpatient, emergency, surgery
and obstetrics. It also offers extensive ancillary and
health care services. For over 75 years, FCH has been
the leader in meeting the health care needs of this
area.
Libraries
Kaubisch Memorial Public
Library's automated catalog gives patrons access to over
85,000 books on all subjects including fiction,
nonfiction, large print, and reference. Material that is
not available locally may be borrowed through
interlibrary loan. The Library subscribes to over 200
magazines, newspapers and periodicals. Over 5,000 video
tapes and DVD's are available for loan including recent
release, classic films, children's videos, and
non-fiction videos. The also have a growing collection
of music on compact disc and audio books on tape or CD.
