Fostoria is blessed with a fine location in the heart of the U.S. auto manufacturing business and is also in one of the world's great agricultural regions.

    Interstate and Highways
    Five state and one U.S. highway run through Fostoria. The Ohio Turnpike (I-80/90) and Interstate 75 are easily accessible within 20 minutes of Fostoria. Routes include:

    • U.S. 23 Toledo to Columbus (extends from Michigan through the Carolinas)

    • Ohio 12 (connects with the Ohio Turnpike and I-75)

    • Ohio 18, 199, 587 and 613 (intersect in the city, providing easy multi-directional access)

Air Transportation
The Fostoria Municipal Airport offers a 4,200' x 100' all-weather surface runway, high intensity transmitter activated runway lights and beacon, and hanger space. A full-time fixed base operator is available seven days a week, providing mechanical, fuel and charter services.

Fostoria is 45 minutes from the Toledo Express Airport and the Burlington Air Express' air-cargo hub, which offers regularly scheduled flights with more than 40 daily departures and general aviation service.

Rail Service
Main rail line service, offered by Norfolk Southern and CSX Transportation, connects with comprehensive intermodal transportation ports for both domestic and international shipping. Efficient service is provided to the Pacific and Atlantic seaboards, and south to the Gulf Coast. Additionally, three major rail lines accommodate over 160 trains per day:
